Blue Hands was officially founded in 2018 by Marcus Molin. However, as early as 2014, Marcus had the idea to help educate companies on how to further get value from social media, specifically with their relatively new advertising solutions… And thus, Blue Hands Digital was born.April 27, 2015

As Marcus kept tirelessly working on expanding Blue Hands’ connections when crossed paths with our talented Yasser and Hanna! Yasser quickly became a crucial Blue Hands cornerstone as the Head of content and Hanna ran intense campaigns while also crushing it in the finance division.May 18, 2018
The New Office
Now, backed by an actual team as more team members kept joining the Blue Hands family, an upgraded space was due. Some might call it love at first sight since we first set foot in our fabulous space at Saltmätargatan 8A… But in reality, we turned our subterranean office area into an oasis of sorts, since Blue Hands’ home is where the heart (and team) is.September 2, 2018
The Trainee Program
Shortly after, Blue Hands founded its own program, the Trainee Program, teaching the real life skills and ins-and-outs of the strategically demanding, digital marketing world. The Trainee Program’s success soon triggered its own evolution into Blue Hands Academy – a system that rewards students, Blue Hands and the companies that sponsor it. Trust us, we get this question a lot.
Back in 2014, when the idea of Blue Hands Digital started forming, Facebook had just released the blue THUMBS UP custom emoji, in the form of a Blue Hand. In addition, all the social media platforms were blue – think Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter were all blue (Instagram was also grey back then). To further guide people on what we do, (and avoid them searching for a bunch of medical blue hand diseases) we added “Digital” in the end for clarification.
Since then, there’s been a lot of play on words with phrases such as

There have been a lot of revamps of the logo and the look and feel, but the name has remained the same – Blue Hands Digital.
